September 16th to 18th Jitai took part in the 23rd China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE 2021). The Exhibition is the largest of its kind in the world, where this year 2,512 optoelectronic exhibitors had access to 160,000 square meters of floor space to showcase the entire range of the optoelectronic universe. These products represented industries such as precision optics, information and communication, sensors, lasers, and photonics. The 23rd iteration of the Expo was once again a fantastic opportunity to meet with like-minded individuals to discuss the latest market trends, source cutting-edge materials, and propose future collaborations. The event offered a wealth of opportunities for the Jitai team to participate in industry-related educational activities with its 72 technical seminars and over 550 presentations. According to the 2020 CIOE Post Show report, at least 572 registered groups consisting of enterprises, associations, institutes, and universities, were present to offer their expertise as well.
The country's national policies such as those laid out in "the 14th Five-year Plan" will ensure that the optoelectronic industry will continue to play a central role in China's industry upgrade. The increasing scale of the event testify to its unparalleled popularity amongst global buyers of optoelectronic technology. This was evidenced by the 482 overseas exhibitors (accounts for 19.2% of total) that set up shop and the 89,294 visitors who took part. The number of visitors this year represented an 13.4% increase from CIOE 2019. In addition to individual exhibitors there were six international pavilions at this year's event. Representatives from Canada, Germany, the United States, Denmark, Lithuania, and Japan were on hand to discuss a variety of industry topics with attendees. Founded in 1999, next year's event has already been scheduled. It will be held at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center in the Southern Chinese city of Shenzhen from the 7th to the 9th of September 2022.
